Your stump's days are numbered.

Stump grinding for Bedford County and Smith Mountain Lake, with a firm price quoted free before any grinding starts. No games, no surprises after the fact. Booking opens January 2027, and the spring list starts now.

Why folks are lining up

Firm

Firm price, up front

Every stump gets measured and quoted before the grinder ever starts, and the quote is the price. No surprises, no games. See how pricing works.

1

One guy, one machine

Solo owner-operator. The same person who answers is the person who shows up and grinds. No crews, no subs, no strangers.

6 in

Ground below the grass

We grind the stump down below ground level so you can seed, sod, or plant right over it. Chips stay as mulch unless you say otherwise.

45 min

Local ring

Based in Bedford and working about a 45 minute ring: Bedford, Forest, Moneta and the lake, Goode, and Huddleston.

Meet the mascot

That is Stanley. He has heard the grinder start up one too many times. Hover over him, or tap him, and watch him sweat. Your stump will make the same face.

How it works

3

Grind day

January 2027 onward, we roll in, grind below ground level, and rake the chips neat. Stump: gone.

This is the job. Tracked grinder, stump going down, chips flying. No crew, no mess left behind, just mulch where the stump used to be.

Adam, owner of Gone Stumpin', in his branded hat and polo

Hey, I am Adam

I run Gone Stumpin' myself, start to finish. I spent years as an insurance adjuster, so I have seen what a leftover stump does to a yard, a mower deck, and a Saturday. This business is simple on purpose: one operator, one grinder, and a firm price agreed before any work starts.

We open in January 2027. Until then, the spring list is the whole game. Get on it and your stumps are first in line when the ground thaws.

That is the whole fleet and the whole crew, right there. When the list opens up in January, this truck rolls.

Booking opens January 2027, and the form below is the only way to reach us right now. The business phone line is not live yet, so the list is how you lock in a spring spot. No pressure, no spam, just first call when grinding season starts.
